Lagos State Government Takes Action on Abandoned Cars, Buses & Trucks In Lagos State starting from 1st of July, 2017 as announced by the media aide.
As part of our effort to educate everyone living and working in Mushin/OdiOlowo LGA we will like to crave your indulgence on the recent publication of the current administration of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to raise the game and change the face of Lagos as a whole to remain at the forefront of global reckoning. His team is implementing a no abandoned car on our streets and major roads campaign within Lagos State.
The administration of the current sole administrator of both local council will also be enforcing this to her citizens to clear or remove any abandon car, bus, or trucks on all our street, and major roads to enhance clear visibility when driving at night or during the day thereby reducing the incident of accidents and any other related challenges that may arise.
There has been a radio campaign going on to inform as many people as possible, but there is currently a grace for all abandoned cars, buses, or trucks to be removed on all major roads starting from 1st of July, 2017. A first initial notification and warning will be given by a means of posters to all abandoned cars/buses/trucks found, after which if not removed such cars/buses/trucks will be taken and towed away in the possession of Lagos State, with an additional 30 days grace for the owner to come in other to claim the cars/buses/trucks and if no response or anyone has not showed up, then the Lagos State Government has all power within its capacity to destroy such cars and be remolded into useful and other materials.
We implore everyone to pass this information across to every of our friends, loved ones and families of this new development by the Lagos State Government.
